My Scholarship entry - No time to waste wondering!

I am a Lawyer in Sydney. Sounds exciting? Not so much! I have an unyielding desire and fire burning inside of me. A desire to reach out to the most remote corners of earth and help otherwise mute persons tell their stories. Why? We "civilised" seem to think that we "got it right". Well, we're sure as hell wrong about that. Those with real struggle and real experience find the answers that we all otherwise yearn to find, but can barely flirt with.

So give me this chance to raise and celebrate the voices of those that we're not just curious to hear, but those we need to hear.
