One in 10,000 eggs ever reach adulthood and yet, these ancient mariners have survived for more than 100 million years. If development is planned carefully so it benefits people and at the same time minimizes the negative effect on turtles, perhaps this hatchling will return one day to this very beach, on the sandy shores of Masirah.
