It's in my dinosaur book and on one of my dinosaur cards so must be a dinosaur

T-rex has recently been linked to birds, so it's not a dinosaur either?

Birds are the only direct ancestors of dinosaurs. I wouldn't call them dinosaurs today, but if a bird has wings measured in meters that flew over land-based dinosaurs, is it really pushing the definition of what a dinosaur is if a terradactyl is grouped with it?

It has a giant head, giant wings, giant mouth, but flies. Sounds like a dinosaur to me...

How about we all just say that anything in the dinosaur period that is now extinct is a dinosaur whether it's a different thing today or not?

How about putting a horse saddle on one of the birds and going flying?
