during my vacation, I decided to travel to Eha-amufu in Enugu state. I heard people talk about the place, so I thought going there would be fun. I took a bus which travelled a long distance through thick bushes without a single building. After an hour plus, the vehicle diverted from the road to an untarred road, there were dust everywhere, changing the colour of my eye brow to brown. At the park, I discovered that there were no hotels in the town, so I was directed to an uncompleted building that had weak roof and doors. I found there were no toilets nor tap in the building so I decided to go and get water since I was dirty. Had my bath and went to bed. Early the next morning, Lillian the girl next door woke me and asked me to dress up for Akatakpa masquerade festival. On our way Lillian told me that the festival was the biggest celebrated festival once every year in their land because it was a medium through which they communicated with their ancestors. At our arrival, we saw different shapes and sizes of masquerades dancing and displaying their skills. After that, we moved to a part that contained dancers of different kinds. Foods were distributed to all who showed interest, the food looks so colourful. From there we went to watch the wrestlers in another part of the square. The festival dismissed around 5:30 in the evening and we went home. The next day I compelled Lillian to teach me how to make their local dish called Igbangu ,which I had eaten earlier on Saturday, I visited the kings palace with a bottle of dry gin which is a sign of respect to the ruler. The king entertained me, after which the king blessed while I was kneeling down, as his gift to strangers visiting the village for the first time. we visited the donkey ranch in the community, there I rode on the donkey and took a picture of them. In the evening, we went to the village stream and had a bath with the locals around before leaving. The next morning ,I waved a good bye to Lillian and went home
