My Scholarship entry - A 'place' I have visited
Australia | Monday, January 14, 2013 | 5 photos
Hi Jason my name is Nando and I’m from Perth Western Australia. I currently work as a Chauffeur and take every opportunity I can to get behind my lens to shoot. I have had a love for the arts since I can remember, and, as a child just loved Music, Architecture and looking at Pictures. It wasn’t till later in life that my passion for Photography grew and purchased my Nikon SLR 3 years ago. Photography! To me it’s a form of expression, which holds artistic and spiritual values with the ability to show others how you see the world in all its perspective and capture the very essence of our existence in all its form without boundaries. I am an amateur photographer and I’ve never had the opportunity to work side by side with a professional photographer. Why should I be chosen to go to Oman. To work and be educated by you would be a priceless and most grateful experience in itself and to hopefully be given this opportunity to capture this culture and experience what it is like to be on assignment for National Geographic with the hope and intent of becoming one of those fortunate enough to do this extraordinary kind of work. My dream is to travel and capture the images of the world, Cheers
