In December I decided to look beyond the hedge of my home and travel to a far land of bearded dragons, red sands, dingoes and strange birds. I found myself in a land down under. Words most often describe the places we go; I choose photography.
My name is Nancy. I am a Canadian girl from Vancouver and creator of Nancy Under the Stars. I traveled through a portion of Australia capturing a life much desired both on film and in words. Since returning to Canada I have continued to write about Australia, however also feature local artists, businesses and interests for my global followers.
With a background in veterinary medicine and a passion for travel, I have decided to combine my skills and see where they can take me. I look forward to time in Africa and am looking toward time in Thailand. Although actions speak loud, a picture is worth a thousand words. I hope the pictures I bring back will inspire many and encourage change.
I dream big and shoot for the moon. If anything, I will land among the stars.
