while reading listen to Newton Faulkner–If this is It
I wish for all eternity that my thread of life should be about living as every day is a new choice, either to improve what you bring with you from yesterday, or renew, and throw away what you do not want to be drawn with anymore.
Less in Life brings Love, less focus on materialistic things in Life will give You Love. Love is indescribable, so how am I to describe the most loving moment that I’ve ever caught? Words can be an alphabetical heaven, so here’s my try.
Undemanding feeling of Life! Happiness can be as simple as 10 seconds of wonderful eye-opening music streaming through the headphones, some well compound words, combined with tones that can change an entire life and give a brand new perspective. The right words in the right moment can contribute with so much. I, for one, had such an experience in Sukau, Borneo. In that moment I was only able to determine that it was a striking few minutes, my hand caressed the surface of the water, as I leaned over the edge from the speedboat that went over the river, warm water droplets hit me in the face, the humidity in the air filled up my lungs with calm breaths. ‘If This Is It’ was playing. It was during these few minutes of completeness, the most intense moment of my life so far, that I could see what was important to me. The ability to feel such rush of joy had fled from me long ago, fled and ended up behind all anxious and destructive occasions that had come to me over the last few years. There and then was a perfect moment of pure happiness, I did not know what was happening but the feeling hit me with such power that I still get tears in my eyes by listening to that song, that song with the living memory of Sukau brings out the feeling of an untouched world, a world in balance and a life in harmony. The feeling got away after a while, but it lingers on in my memory, just as a favorite picture in the family album does, You can look at it whenever you feel like. In my closet of memories this is the one that I cherish the most and it will stay with me, ready to be picked up whenever needed. That moment has taken me through several bad things during the past two years and has even helped me to discover a new exciting path in life. Sukau, You opened up my eyes. With Your untouched beauty You’ve made me see a bigger picture, the beauty of the World, wherever my path may go. You gave me Love.
