Namdapha , is the only park in India, and probably in the world, with four large cat species – Tiger, leopard, clouded leopard and snow leopard. Namdapha National Park is the largest protected area (1985 km2) in the Himalayas , located in Arunachal Pradesh at Northeast India. It is also the largest national park in India in terms of area. There are about a hundred mammal species, from the conspicuous and vocal hoolock gibbon to the elusive spotted linsang. Despite its remote location, the forests around Namdapha have always had people like Lisu , Singpho, Chakma and Tangsa tribes are there, some which also depend on poaching .Poaching is quite common in Namdapha even today and hardly 5-10 Tigers are left in Namdapha cause poaching.
