malayan giant squirrel climbing down,this is also one of the largest squirrel in the world.The species is endemic to deciduous, mixed deciduous, and moist evergreen forests of peninsular India.

Kindly note that if this was clicked in Namdapha then this is Malayan Giant Squirrel and NOT Malabar Giant Squirrel as mentioned in the caption

Tea time with tribal Lisu Grandma and she shared us that they are originally from Myanmar,they are knowing for their excellent hunting skills,Apart from the poaching of tigers, musk deer, bears and otters are commonly killed. Elephants have almost disappeared.Young Lisus are now being engaged in protection squads in the Namdapha.

Male Western hoolock gibbon hanging on , There are numerous threats to western hoolock gibbons in the wild, and are now entirely dependent on human action for their survival. Threats include habitat encroachment by humans, forest clearance for tea cultivation, the hunting for food and capture for trade.
