Inexhaustable Splendour

The land of romance and beauty, Swat was always on my must see list. The First visit to a place like Swat was a dream comes true. The little valley surrounded by mountains added to my freshness and made my mind even more sparkling. Glowing snow everywhere added to its stun and the city started to look more natural under the white cover of snowfall. The white, pure and cotton like look made it seem more like a heaven. The lush green trees made it look more praiseworthy and boosted me with a sense of joy and peace.
The culture of such a glamorous place was admirable too. As moving through the valley’s huge mountains the journey to Swat becomes a mighty thrilling and fearful experience. We hired the Jeep to carry us to Swat valley because it was not an easy task to drive through such mountainous regions, and even not every car has such potential and power to move through such landscape. The thrashing river over there was producing a breathtaking sound but at the same time it was looking as if natural things are in conversation with each other. The silence in the air was overpowered by the sound of the flowing river, and the fast moving breeze which in itself was an extreme combination of experience. The palace upon which we planned to take accommodation was on the bank of the river. Our guide took us to Miandam which was a place full of natural beauty. It had a serene and calm environment. The hand art by the locals was something worth buying. The resort town was located near the local airport, which was designed as an artificial place with such good landscapes. This reduplication of the place reminded me of the novel by Julian Branes "England, England". There were tracks and trails for walking and bicycling. The traditional wood houses were the best in the lot. Even the graveyard of that place was a piece of ultimate architecture. This is one place which people usually don’t visit while visiting Swat and that surely is one big miss. We had to leave the same day to further northern areas but what we have witnessed will not be compared to any other scenic beauty and natural demonstration of a landscape.
