The first time I travel after traveling a lot

GERMANY | Thursday, 15 May 2014 | Views [200] | Scholarship Entry

I never expected to find the answers I was longing for since I was a child while traveling, I didn't know that I was actually a traveler since I start really considering my life as a journey and each trip as a life changing experience.

After graduating And with 30 years, I realized I had a huge dilemma : I didnt have a clue of what I really wanted to do, I could be a freelancer or I could be a regular office employ.

This question was deeply in my heart and mind until the answer was thrown to me in the form of a Facebook post inviting me to take part in a pioneers journey organized by a project called "the journey network ". I end up being one of the ten pioneers who spent a week in the German forest trying to find their true place in the world by combining it with a 40 days solo journey.

So there I was, sharing my life in circles with ten strangers and rediscovering myself while talking deeply with my inner child. After this reflection phase I cross the threshold of my comfort zone and end up traveling around the Mediterranean Sea.

The places I visited were meaningful and incredible beautiful, but the answers I was really looking for where discover in the way of conversations and encounters.

Today I assume life as a travel-work balance and I realize that traveling is not only moving around one place to another but connecting with your soul.

The first time I really travel was after visiting more than 10 countries and living in three different cities, the first time I really travel was when I decided to leave maps and check list behind and decided to get lost while wandering. The first time I really travel was when I say to myself that I wanted to make a sustainable way of living while discovering the world.
