My Scholarship entry - A 'place' I have visited

I have always found that taking pictures as my way of conveying the story of the destinations or locations I have visited. I like to highlight the terrain & the historical beauty in my landscape photography, and by Taking portraits, I like to emphasize on capturing the emotions of the individuals I photograph.
I have travelled to Asia, Europe, the Caribbean and some countries in Africa, and my mission has always been to capture the special moments that I would like to share with the rest of the world. One of my photography passions will be to also shoot images in conflict zones or refugee camps. I find that by taking the right images can possibly strike the nerve cord of humanity, or at least that would be my mission. We are in constant need of images that expose the atrocities of dictators, and the daily struggle in occupations, or famine. I also do hope that someday to exhibit such images in order to fund raise for the people in need, or at least provide the needed exposure.

I do hope that my images will do their justice, so I may receive this rare experience in the world of photography, and to become a better photographer so i can share experiences through my lens.
