My Scholarship entry - A 'place' I have visited

I describe myself as a dreamer. In a country with less opportunities everyday, specially for culture and arts, I keep dreaming of making a life out a them. I stubbornly took a degree and MA in Archaeology, hoping to pursue the underwater field. I've photographed all my life, trough my dancing times, my scouting activities, my diving trips, my excavations, my trips around the world, my day-to-day life... The camera has become like a pair of glasses to me, that I use to see a more beautiful world and to record moments, places or people that I don't want to forget!
Unfortunately, having limited financial support from my parents, when all you want costs so much (study, travel, photography, scuba diving, etc...) some things have to be postponed. I could only buy a good camera, a Canon, with my savings and a little help from my father, in 2010 and only then I started learning/practicing a bit more. Workshops and courses have been impossible so far. So what you see in my pictures is only product of someone who doesn't know what she's doing but she's loving it and can't live without it! All I want now is a chance to learn all I can so that I can photograph with technique besides from passion.
