Recently I lived two months in Jakarta. Of course Jakarta is not a typical touristic city, few monuments, few attraction. One of the places that caught my attention is “Sunda Kelapa”, the old harbor in Batava(the old name of Jakarta). The atmosphere here is dreamlike. The leaden sky, and the workers moving like ghosts are seem to take you into a dream.
Still today the sailors are using a piece of wood instead of footbridge for unloading the stocks.
