My name is Phillip Philippou and i am a 31 year old photography student. I have been taking photos since the age of 12. I am extremely passionate about photography and i am constantly trying to capture the beauty in all things in life to share them with the people that may not notice the simple beautiful things in life. I do not know much about photography but i have always known how to create an interesting frame with a camera. My photography skills have been a natural part of me and have developed with education. When i learnt about composition i knew i should be a photographer because i have always taken photos with good composition even when i didn't know what composition meant. I believe i am right for this scholarship because in my 31 years i have never wanted anything more. When i take photos it seems as though i become a different person, almost like an artist. I am in no way an artist but when i use my camera i somehow create photos that seem far beyond my capabilities considering my lack of knowledge. I also have an extreme passion for travel and nature. I would love to be a professional photographer one day in the near future and i hope that i can pursue my passion in this ever so competitive industry. I sincerely hope to hear from you and i hope to be given the chance to learn and grow as a photographer and as a person.
