My Scholarship entry - A 'place' I have visited

I'm emotionless. As ironic as it may sound, i tend to convey emotions through my photographs because i am able to keep myself composed in moments of stress or sadness or joy. I worked extremely hard, doing the odd bits of chores just so that i could buy a camera with my own income. I invested also in several 'photography tip' books but realized i'm just not cut for reading and learning. So i decided to experiment with the camera, making lots of mistakes along the way. Admittedly though, those books did come in handy with the technical parts. I travel often, going places people tend to overlook. My patience is one that competes with a fisherman.
I think i should be chosen for this scholarship because photography is a passion which i posses and i have that inclination to go the extra mile just to capture a moment. Scholarships as this are the ones that make a difference to an individuals life and if i be given this opportunity, I can contribute to my community's understanding of photography as much. Knowledge should be free and I hope that what i learn will not only benefit me but also those around me.
