It was an amazing day when the voice of the bus engine started to work.....vooo vooo , then we began our journey as students to the the pharaonic Cairo .
At 7:00 am, we started from Alexandria-our town- and took the road to Cairo by bus, after 3 hours on the road seeing landscapes, deserts and green areas, we finally arrived to our destination which is the pyramids.
When I saw them in reality, I got shocked..
It was like that if I was on the top of Burj Khalifa and could see the land in the bottom , then I tried to be normal as I was and wanted to go inside them of climb them.
It was forbidden to go inside the pyramids according to the Egyptian laws , so I decided to go inside.
look and imagine with me.. The gate of the pyramid is now opened wooooow.. I can now go and see what the old Egyptians had made for me. It is incredible to do that, after that I looked around me and said "I must go now to explore these secrets".
A long stair appears in front of me and I should use it to go to the to rooms in the pyramid, while walking on this stair I can see beautiful paintings on the walls and feel like that I am now in the pharaonic era and some pharaohs will appear to me and frighten me..nooo noooo I am in 2014 AD not 2014 BC .
''Go on..go on'' I said to me.Then I got to the door of a room in the pyramid and entered it.
"oohhh what is this" It was the first statement that my mouth launched and then I starred at the coffin of the king and asked myself how they could do that 7000 years ago, they were clever people to know chemistry and use it in Mummification.I wondered a lot and tried to read the letters that were written on the tomb but certainly I couldn't as I don't know their language.
I got out my digital cam and took selfie photos of mine with the paintings, the tomb, and everything I can see.
After that I looked to the floor and many thoughts broke into my mind.Suddenly,a voice called my name...."Ahmed..Ahmed'', I got shocked and imagined for a while that it was from the pharaonic era, it was the voice of the king called me because I broke into hit tomb and confused him,but I recognized that it was the voice of my teacher who was looking for me as the time of our visit to the pyramids had ended.
I ran quickly out of the room and got back to my friends and my teacher to go back to our town.
The engine of the bus started again but to take us home.
When I came back to my house, I said to myself "I'll never forget the day that I was in the Pharaonic Egypt"
