I Haven't Been Everywhere But It's On My List I love to travel and experience the world but part of the fun for me is documenting those experiences through photography and writing. Follow along with me and enjoy the ride!

China 2015

We went to Jing'an Temple, an old Buddhist temple that was essentially destroyed during the Cultural Revolution and turned into a plastics factory. The temple was converted back to a temple in the 80s and the restorations were only completed in 2010. It was absolutely stunning. There was a 3 meter high sterling silver Buddha that weighed 1.8 tons!
