colors: one definition, a thousand meanings

About multitone

And in every shade of blue, green, red and yellow I found a tiny piece of the country. A country that shows its diversity through the simplicity of its heartfelt colors. The red of Sahara, the blue of Chaouen and Essaouira, the yellow seen on the city walls.

Photography for me has always been a reaction to places and moments, to things that entice me, living things. Everything that´s opposed to monotony. The need to discover and experience new perspectives made me choose International Relations as my field of study. Photography, then, came as a natural consequence of that choice.
When the first opportunity of living abroad showed up I started noticing how cultural differences instigated me to come out everyday bringing my camera along, in order to uncover every hidden centimeter from the city that I chose as my new home. I, then, decided to invest in a camera that would allow me to capture things that only my thoughts and eyes would in the past. Since then I've been trying to express my feelings and thoughts through it. A photo has the power to tell a story on its own, but the ideas and feelings behind the lenses are the fuel that turns them into something bigger than simple images.
I believe that the images captured by me are an open exposition of my deepest inner feelings. This opportunity would be, for me, a really important step towards a career as a much more inspired professional and human being.
