I teach English as a Foreign Language. I enjoy doing extreme sports, travelling, seeing friends and family, meeting people from different countries. I also enjoy playing badminton, tennis, going go-karting, swimming, ice skating, visiting museums.

I have taught English around the UK and also in Dar Es Salaam Tanzania. I am well travelled, I have been to 18 countries.

I would like to be chosen for this photography project for several reasons. I have never been to Peru so I would like to add Peru to the list of countries I have been to. The Amazon rainforest is one of the worlds most famous locations. I have to quote Pauline Frommer, "I think that its great to go out and see the world". I have to agree with her 100%. Pauline Frommer is the author / editor of a series of travel guide books, 'Spend Less See More'.

I think that visiting the Amazon rainforest will open up my eyes to the environment and help me and my friends realise that we need to protect the Amazon rainforest from destruction. The Amazon rainforest is a vital part of the South American history and culture. I think that going to see the Amazon rainforest will help me appreciate it better.
