My Photo scholarship 2011 entry

Worldwide | Monday, November 7, 2011 | 5 photos

I'm a biology student so I'm used to field work. I'm hoping to finish my master's degree in ecology. I'm very passionate about wildlife, and it has always been my dream to visit Africa. I don't know why exactly, but thinking of Africa makes me smile. Taking photos calms me and makes me happy. When I'm holding my camera, I feel like just it and me exist. And the only thing I think about is expressing myself through my art. It would be a big thing for me if I would have gotten this scholarship, because experiencing Africa has been my childhood desire, and working in field photography with an expert has become my dream when I heard about this exeptional offer. I'm just a beginner photography regarded, but I have tried to pick five pictures I am most proud about. Hope you'll like it. I've chosen my academic studies very carefully, because I think an individual can make a difference by changing his part of the world. I'm hoping one day my photography will make a difference and motivate people to carish our planet a little more each day by experiencing its undoubtable beauty in each of my frames. I think ecology and photography united are a great mixture. It is easier for people to see and appreciate all of world's grace with a bit of visual help. Thank you for your time.
