My Scholarship entry - A 'place' I have visited

I am Mukesh Amaran , an average engineering student who studies biotechnology in a good college in south india. I was always a photoenthusiasist but the entry into my college's photography club increased my thirst for photography and inspired me to take it as a profession. Being born in an Indian orthodox family (which wasn't my fault) , I never had the right motivation from my parents. It was just books and studies. I would click some photos when ever I found time either with my phone or my camera. As my grades went down my dad locked my camera inside a cupboard in his office. I read a lot about photography and that's how I found this scholarship program. I always loved to travel,But never got the chance. I've never been anywhere above south India. My passport remains empty till date. Watching and reading about field giants like Steve McCurry , I learned a lot but never got the chance to put what into SDcards the things I learned. My grandparents were fishermen. I've always been fascinated by their hardwork which is seldom noticed in south India. So I thought that I'd use this platform to create a message . Thank you
