My Scholarship entry - Finding My Identity after My Father Died

My name is Katelyn and I'm finishing my Masters Degree here in London, UK. Back in June I lost my father unexpectedly which turned my world upside down. I feel I should be chosen because due to my fathers passing it has taught be to engage and love every bit of life, all that it has to offer, as much as you can while you can. I am getting back in touch with who I use to be, as when I moved to London I forgot who I actually was. I was someone who loved spontaneity, adventure, a challenge! This trip would allow me to reflect on my life and my passion for photography, exploring and learning about the Peruvian Amazon, but more importantly learning more about who I am as a person, and letting any and all challenges not be a feat but an opportunity!
