Tanah Lot the temple in the sea is one of those classic post card shots that many take at sunset on a visit to Bali. Unfortunately the weather was not on my side and had been raining for days so I just had to take the opportunity that I was given and that was a nasty grey old day. It was quite a busy day, there were many tour buses there and the place was crawling with people. The temple is located in the ocean and can only be accessed at low tide. Unfortunately it was high tide so we couldn’t get up close and personal but we were told we wouldn’t be allowed to enter anyway which I think is fair enough. We took heaps of pictures waiting our turn with the many people in the prime photographic points all taking turns. Everyone was very friendly and respectful to one and other no pushing and shoving for prime spots. Getting a picture without any other tourist in view was tricky.
