I landed in China 5 years ago and became passionate about photography through this experience. I am currently working in Digital Advertising as an Art Director in Shanghai.

Here, I fell in love with analog pictures: the grain & light, the wait for unexpected results, quality, depth, the frustration of not succeeding, the proudness to work without a light meter. I now carry my 2kg camera bag everywhere, no matter climate or conditions. It became an essential part of all my travels, from the shots to the memories coming around them.

I believe I could bring an unexpected angle to this Peruvian trip, beneficing from professional advices, but also using my analog tools, perfectly suited for this trip, contrasting and completing Mr Edwards pictures. I would love to be able to experiment photography on this continent, interacting with everything and capturing the most of it, confronting it with my current knowledge.

I am already day-dreaming about shooting over there, the people, their smiles, their daily occupations, the light through the forest, the lush greens and vibrant colors. Hopefully, using the results and this competition as a way to become a full-time nomad photographer.
