My Photo scholarship 2011 entry

My name is Ilyas i'm 23 years old and I live in central Russia. I do photography only for six month. I have a degree in law but when i started to learn photography i found out that it was the only thing in my life that i was really passionate about. I hope that this hobby of mine can become a real profession. I find inspiration in works of Robert Capa and the "bang bang club" photographers especially Kevin Carter and when I found out that this scholarship can take me to south africa and Johannesburg I literally couldn't sleep at night dreaming of such opportunity.=)
I want to travel the world and capture my experience in photos.
I am a fast learner so I can take all opportunities of this short term course. I am willing to get up early in the mornings to go out and shoot or spend whole nights in the field shooting time lapses or just waiting all night just for one shot.
I found about this scholarship only few days ago, so I had no time to make photos specially for this contest and submitted ones from my last trip. It was a trip to Turkey in september. There I went to mount Tahtali (2365 mt.) and I had my manual Nikon film camera with black and white film rolls with me and took this photos.
