My name is Mark Hanson, i am 34 and i love Photography.
Born in Wellington i lived here up until i moved to Brisbane Australia when i was 24, while there i discovered a passion for photography.My style unknowingly was kind of documentary, i really enjoyed capturing people in a candid way, going about their business, i like to watch people and wait for a certain expression, one of peace, one of being happy in their environment or enjoying the moment with another.I didn't take my photography very far and with digital becoming the dominant format i was taking less and less photographs.I moved back to New Zealand to live with family and to work as a builder in Christchurch. at this time i felt the passion for photography return, i got myself a camera and got out there to document our city. My skill level was not the best, so planned to study, then on Feb 22nd 2011 a deadly earthquake struck Christchurch. Experiencing this made me take the steps to study, In 2012 i completed a diploma in digital imaging. I love photography, i see the world through new eyes. To go to Greenland, to learn from a pro, this would be a life changing experience, Travel Photography is what i want to do
