    A San child hangs in a bag staring out at its surroundings. This is the traditional way of carrying a San child. This would make it easier for the women to gather and cook food. San people traditionally hunted in long, tiring excursions using poison arrows made from beetle larvae. The arrows are not big enough to kill on their own so the bushmen after shooting their pray would have to follow, depending on the size of the game this could take days, until it succumb to the poison. The small huts have been replaced by tin roofed sheds, the days of hunting replaced with changing out of western style clothing and performing for tourist. More and more of the young adults are moving to the larger cities for employment. Hopefully the knowledge and language is passed on to a few who can preserve it for future Views[323]
