My Scholarship entry - A 'place' I have visited

Hi World Nomad Judges,

My name is Tony Moyse I have been travelling for about the last 18 years. I used to work in contract shearing sheds in the outback of South Australia shearing and working in the yards. Now we are saving up to start our own home cleaning business in 2013, it’s going to be a hard road for the next couple of years. My current job I work as a meter reader for the states electricity company and walk 5 days a week up hill and down dale, so fitness is not a problem.

I have always had a camera one way or another since about 1990 I learnt to take my first SLR shots with a canon T50 a great old camera. I don’t have many shots left from my film days as the ex-wife claimed them and the camera too.

So after about 10 years of playing around with point and shoots I finally stepped back up to a DSLR and have been having the time of my life shooting as we have travelled. I don’t have any awards or competition recognitions but a lot of my friends always tell me to enter. This competition really caught my eye it combines all the things that I love to do photography, meeting new people and travelling. People love to tell their story to you if you listen and watch.
