Hey there!

My name is Justin. I am a Graphic Designer and enthusiast photographer from Melbourne, Australia, currently residing in Vietnam after travelling the country extensively for 3 months by motorbike.

Of course, like many, travelling is what I love the most. However, I am not driven to travel by all night boozing, and full moon parties. It is my love and enthusiasm for photography and video that motivates me. It is the kindness and warmth I receive from local strangers, that make me long for my next trip. My love for photography has taken me to on solo trips through India, and Vietnam - two countries that I adore for the food, the colour, and vibrancy of the culture.

Of course, I would love to be chosen for this scholarship, but I guess I deserve this prize no more than the next talented photographer out there. What I can tell you however, is that when I get behind a camera, I truly immerse myself in that moment, to capture the most out of my location. As a graphic designer, I believe I have a great eye for composition. This, combined with enthusiasm and ability to throw myself into a moment, I reckon I have what it takes to win this scholarship.
