I am a 21 year old as of today from Barrie Ontario, Canada. Ever since I can remember I have been the one in the family who wanted to take the picture and didn't mind not being in it. After high school I had the opportunity to travel to New Zealand and Australia for seven months where my passion for photography was transformed by all the beautiful scenery into a lifestyle. Upon my travels I was fortunate enough to meet many friends who I still keep in touch with today and who have encouraged me to pursue my dream, and that is why I am writing this entry today.

I love looking through the lens and being able to capture whatever you see in that moment, and being able to share your visions with friends. Who knows may be one day I will be sharing my photos with people from all around the world. I strive to make every shot better than the last whether its shooting my friends snowboarding at the local hill or sleeping overnight in the outback waiting to capture the sunrise over Ayers rock. I believe that pushing yourself to get that better shot is what fuels great photographers across the globe and I hope to learn from the best.

I want to be able to take my photography skills to the next level and think this would be the ideal way to do that. Another one of my passions is travelling and geography, and since I can name every country in the world without looking at a map, I think its time to go see those countries for real and capture every second of it through the art of photography.
