My Scholarship entry - San Blas Castaway

My motivation in life is to help people find compassion and learn from the world around them. i have backpacked to so many corners of this earth and I could write a book on all the incredible people I have met and crazy experiences shared with them. I am hopelessly addicted to this nomadic life and it fills my soul completely with joy. I may have no assets in the physical world, but my life is rich with what this planet has provided to me. Two years ago by chance, the camera and I fell in love. I am now back at school studying photography and have found my life’s purpose - to connect people through imagery and words, and ignite a fire in their belly as well. So why should I be chosen? Others may deserve more than I as my life has been a blessing of endless adventures, however i would be utterly thrilled and grateful to be apart of the Amazon mission and have the chance to be guided by the incredible photographer.

So many places to explore, people and animals to learn from, and stories to be shared.
