Change of Plans

COSTA RICA | Saturday, 24 December 2011 | Views [558]

While in Boquete we decided to see a little more of the country, so we took a bus to Cerro Punta. It´s a beautiful little town nestled in the foothills of Volcan Baru. It´s also a hub of vegetable production (it supplies a majority of Panama´s veggies), so it´s mostly farms and farm workers. The family we´re staying with is trying to help us learn more spanish, except their spanish is much different from Costa Rican spanish, so we´re mostly just improving our sign language. Our plan is to head to Volcan (a much bigger town) today to celebrate Christmas, because the grocery stores and restaurants here are very basic. We´ll update when we can, happy holidays everyone!
