I went to Yogyakarta for 8 days. Everyone who knows that I wanted to go to Yogya for 8 days thought us crazy. Because they said, there's nothing do in Yogya. They were wrong. I have lots of fun in Yogyakarta. I went to Yogya with my friend, Anggit and stayed in Albert, Anggit's friend, house. Yogyakarta really teach me how to be brave. I went to Yogyakarta to have a brand new start. I went everythere by motorcycle. Most of the places were 3 hours journey which is quiet tiring if you choose motorcycle. But I enjoyed riding a motorcycle, it makes you close to the city and the feeling when your hair was blown by the wind was fantastic. We went to Keraton, Prambanan Temple, Ratu Boko Temple, Parangtritis Beach, Merapi, Gua Pindul. We spent one day in one place so we could get closer to Yogya. There were three places that amazefing. First, to see sunrise in Merapi. It was the most beautiful sunrise I've ever seen. And to sit on the cliff, that was nobody there just the three of us was a huge experience! We just sat and remain silence, surrounds us were so green and many new grown tree, a dried river. It made me feel like I was going back to the primordial age. And mad me grateful of this beautiful nature. In Merapi it was just the three of us too. Second, when we were in Gua Pindul. It successfully made me more in love with this nature. I was afraid with swimming in the deep water and doing dirt things. But after I went there, I'm not afraid swimming in the deep water anymore, I'm not that afraid with nature, I'm not afraid of dirt. In Gua Pindul, I learned how to be braver and get closer to my friends. Third, I went to angkringan. A small food stand, that obligate us to sit on the sidewalk of the street without table and chair. And drank coffee joss, which is coffee with hot charcoal. So when the charcoal were poured into a cup of coffee the sounds will be "JOSS". In angkringan, we could talk all night till 2 AM. And I met my summer fling there. A busker who know "the script", my favorite band, and could sing their song perfectly with only guitar and he's handsome too! I almost thought that he went undercover as a busker. I enjoyed being in Yogya because the scenery, the kindness of the people there, and the angkringan situation I'd never get anywhere else. Also, I get very close to Albert although I knew him 8 days ago. Me, Anggit and Albert were just like a family now after what happened in Yogya.
