No single life could ever be enough for me to reach all my dreams and satisfy all my ambitions.
I have a vision, a recurring dream, in which I am four different men at the same time. And each one of them pursued an independent life.
The first is a student of Physics. A man with a priest-like devotion for observing the hidden harmony in the laws of Nature.
The second is a friend and
philanthropist. A friendly and gentle man, ready to listen to the stories of the people he meets. One that puts effort in helping and connecting with others.
The third man is a climber, chasing the intimacy with nature and the touch of the mountains' might. A little spot of awareness lost in the immensity of the whole, in romantic contemplation of the limit of his skills and the approaching physical fatigue.
The fourth is a traveler who spends his life aimlessly walking the earth, pushed forward by his curiosity for meeting new cultures, stumbling upon new places, never before seen.
In my life i try to find the right balance between these four ideals. The result is so far removed from what is considered a "comfortable" life that it becomes difficult to communicate what drives me even to my friends.
Here photography gains crucial importance: it gives me the chance of communicating my strongest experiences and sharing the feelings that I felt during my travles and climbs.
Italy is a wounderful and varied country and I tried to explore and travel around it as much as I could, but it does not have the beauty and the grace of the Northen lands. However, as a student, I do not have the necessary means to reach them.
