The congress of peoples is a national march in Colombia for human rights of indigenous people, they travel in vehicles called chivas are very colorful and reflect the personality of the driver. Congress of the people came to the Colombian capital after traveling many miles from their provinces to demand attention of the Government, established in the national university for 4 days when students had the opportunity to interact with the congress of the peoples of these images are the result of my way to translate that daily contact with them. Entire families traveled also what allowed to see them in communion among themselves and with the wider community. to be a student at the National University of Colombia I lived for those four days of teaching on the struggle of these peoples.

the first picture which is to guard native title reflects the organization of the community are responsible for escorting the marches and care for people without using weapons.
