A visual artist Tumelo Mokopakgosi born in Orlando Soweto, South Africa. He has developed an innovative and unique art style and eco-friendly art form using the solar energy, magnifying lenses from old cinematic projectors. My concept focuses on going green using art, science and mathematics. I recently graduated at Big Fish School of Digital School of Film-making for the 10 month DSTV Film Skills Development Programme. Work Experience: Silent film: R10 (Ten Rand), Profile film: Abuse of power, Current affairs: Media Ethics, Africa. Obesity Silent Killer, Personal film: Black Beauty and Public Service Announcement (PSA): Animation Anti Rhino Poaching (Save the Rhino) which was selected to be in the top 30% of the M-Net Tag Awards competition. My ambition as a film-maker is to grow in the film industry and be the best female director. I want tell stories about ordinary people, be able to share their experiences with the rest of the world. Winning this scholarship will be a great opportunity for me to grow out of my comfort zone and be able to learn other genres and formats within the film industry. Will also give me necessary expertise that will expose me to its clients.
