I recently got hooked with photography and I am very fascinated by the magic that goes with capturing places, people, events and everything else in between through pictures. It never fails to delight me whenever I see the awe in the faces of people who look at my pictures. I believe that every picture has its unique story to tell and the opportunity to be chosen in this travel scholarship would extremely allow me to tell larger than life stories while bringing out creativity and talents I have in photography. The fact that I love travelling and the outdoors, working with world champions like Jason Edwards, National Geographic team and the scholarship partners will be a dream come true and a rare experience that I will hold on for the rest of my life. This opportunity will permit me to represent my country and promote Oman's tourism. This chance will also buy me some time off from my usual work as a bank IT Officer and maybe jump start a career in photography. The hands-on experiences and invaluable mentoring acquired from this scholarship would really mean a lot to me and equip me especially during my service in our Catholic charismatic community as one of their photographers.
