My name is Maggie, I am a 20 year old photography student in Wellington, the capital of New Zealand.
I have always been a visual person and photography has been the perfect outlet, it allows me to look at something ordinary in a new and exciting way. I particularly like exploring the role of technology and documentation in today’s society.
Recently I have really started to push myself to get the best photograph I can because I know how hard it is to make it as a photographer and if I can be the best I can be I would hopefully be involved with photography as a career.
I am interested in working for superbly photographed magazines like Frankie or National Geographic.
I am hardworking and push myself until I end up with something I am happy with; I love travelling and seeing new places; I enjoy being outside and can handle the cold, with many holidays spent in a remote hut, tramping, skiing and a couple years spent in cold student flats.
