After about 6 weeks of planning and preparations, I'm about ready. Already packed even! I'm travelling light with a 2/3 filled Eagle Creek Truist 55L pack and a small CamelBak Trail Blazer day pack. I decided to go with a Steripen water purification system. I've got a pair of Chaco sandals and North Face Assailant GTX trail shoes. Weather forcast suggest the North will not have temps lower than upper 50s F, but some rain may fall even at higher temps in the South. I hope to be as comfortable as can be given the range places and activities planned.
