Hi. Good to read your journals. My wife and I returned from Noli/Sportono to Belfast just last night. I was last in Noli in 1972 as part of a school trip and loved it so much that as a surprise 50th birthday present, my wife secretly booked a holiday there for a week!Amazing that you mention da Ines in Noli. We managed to persevere two nights there before we threw in the towel. No lift (and we were staying in the Pensione), dark stairways, NO ENGLISH SPEAKING AT ALL, even when we explained that we were Irish and couldn't even read the menu let alone attempt the lingo and then it came - the ant invasion!!We moved to Spotorno - Villa Imperiale, and had a wonderful time. We visited Savona, San remo, Allissio, Finale Ligure, Albenga (fantastic market) etc.All in all, a fantastic and totally unexpected week and although the weather wasn't fantastic, we were determined not to let that dampen our fun.6 months there must be beyond excitement. Thanks for your stories.Johnnie
