The Meaning of Travelling

The places I have been to cannot count as “many”,however,the feelings of several times’ on the road,just grow and thrive in my heart.And I believe,no matter where we were born or live,we can find another place that we should have known for years.Brighton,a reputed seaside city in England just gave me the feeling like that.The clear and blue sky,the tranquil street,the affectionate couples,the beautiful seabirds showing with the sunrise or sunset and the houses near the sea,all the things are like a breathtaking picture freezing frame in my mind.It is an incredible place that makes me want to spend my left life there.Just imagine,someday,you walk on the avenues of Brighton with your beloved and have a cup of vanilla vodka in the bars at night or enjoy the distant scenery or just chat with the local ones,all of which are not admiring?
While the lady with more than 70 years old I met in London also made me impressed.After the retirement,the lady,Olive has been playing host to the overseas exchange students for so many years.And I guess,now,the names on the visitors’ books are countless.She told me she has travelled a multitude of places of the world with her husband,including South America,Europe,South Africa and Egypt and so on.Before the journey to the Great Wall in China,however,her husband passed away.And after that,she has not spent the time on the road,instead,she stays at home to realize her husband’s dream-sharing their travelling stories with the visitors .And when I asked her why she looked so knowledgeable,she told me that life is good education and so is the travelling.
It seems there is a calling of destiny that I have to put on the backpack and set out for my dreams.When travelling on the road ,you will know that is the real time to talk to yourself,feel other’s life and enrich your mediocre life.Then you will be irrevocably in love with this talk to your soul.And I call it the complex of ‘on the road’.
