How much for a glass of wine?

Inside a painting

SLOVENIA | Thursday, 15 May 2014 | Views [97] | Scholarship Entry

As we run towards the lake we throw our clothes of and end up but naked in the turqoise water. The lake is surrounded with spots that are perfect for skinny dipping as you can easily get your own little clearing to yourself.
The water is warm but still cool enough to wash of the mornings hike. Did I mention the snow covered mountains in the background that are so beautiful they're making me feel like Im living inside a painting? Lake Bled must be one of the most beautiful places I have ever seen.

Travelling through Europe in the perfect mix of history, old beautiful bilduings, nature, shabby old hostels, cheap beers and bars. Whats not to love?

Slovenia was the unexpected choice for us when we headed out to discover Europe. A long hung over train ride from Vienna later we found ourselves in fantastic Ljubljana. I could not be happier we ended up there. In Slovenia theres enough shabby old hostels and beer to go around.

Theres a few places where you go and theres just that feeling.. you know.. you just feel like "I could live here" and Ljubljana is one of mine "I could live here" places. The city has this feeling of an old yet modern city with an amazing atmosphere. Ljubljana isnt the home of any cool "Mona Lisas" or towers where you take photos just to show youve been there but instead its a city just to stroll around in - in your own time. If you still want that photo - there is numerous gorgeous bridges to make your own perfect postcard photo.

Just an hour away - Lake Bled. The lake invites you in for a nice warm swim in the turquoise blue water and the restaurants and bar surrounding the lake leaves nothing to be desired. Do you want to enjoy the best pizza you've ever had (Yes, Ive been to Italy - this is better) and end your evening listening to a piano play lovely tunes as you sit underneath a tree watching the beautiful lake at night - this is the place.

I find I only really have one problem while travelling. Beer is always so easy to find and its always fairly good and most importantly its cheap cheap cheap. (Not much of a beer drinker though)
How much is a glass of wine? (That doesnt taste like a rats ass)
