My Scholarship entry - Trip back Home

I was born and raised in Cape Town, South Africa. When I was 16 me and my family moved to Germany. We didn't have much money, but when I finished school, I had saved up enough to travel back to my hometown after 5 years. I was there for 5 months. It was incredible to be back, to visit family and friends, be greeted by the capetonians relaxed vides and experience the culture again and see everything through different eyes. My love for art and photography was in full swing.
I just began studying at a photography academy in Cologne, taking my first steps towards a career in photography. I would be extremely thankful for this scholarship. Money is tight and all that I earn go towards schools fees and equipment. The opportunity to be mentored by Jason Edwards alone would be so enriching and worthwhile for any aspiring photographer.
