My Indonesia

My Photo scholarship 2010 entry

Worldwide | Sunday, October 17, 2010 | 4 photos

Indonesian forests are ripped down every hour, time stops when a western woman plays warm tunes seducing men with her guitar, children pick through rubbish dumps for food, fire crackers bring color for 5 hours to a dark dusty city. A country which lives eats and breathes contradictions somehow survives with the most beautiful organised kaos. I'm a salt loving mango eating smiling aussie communicator who studies Journalism and dabbles in graphic design but wants to pursue passions of visual pleasure through photography. Travel is my blood, pictures are my brain, words are my food and life is my love.
