Walnut St & 6th St. South: Independence Hall. Philadelphia feels like the center of the United States. I started my walk from a subway station beneath a downtown shopping center. Blindly I followed a small crowd until i found myself in a green park centered among a bare forest of grand old trees. I instantly had the feeling these trees had been witness to so much of the countries history.
