My love affair started back in high school. A manual on it at the school library caught my attention. The science - mixing chemicals, light and materials captivated me. Later I learned of the art. I struggled to take photos using my mom's instamatic camera, saving as much as possible to afford film and processing.

Now I'm 30, a chemist and still leaving in Manila. My passion for photography didn't wane and I never leave the house without a camera. Wanderlust and shooting photos define me. Be it in my own city or some far flung destination my shoestring budget could afford.

Like any other photographer, who wouldn't want an opportunity like this? I'd love to get chosen to learn, to travel and ultimately to break into this field. I'd like to take photos of my country and share the realities and the beauty to rest of the world.
