My Scholarship entry - A 'place' I have visited

My name is Mikael. I'm a 24 year old graphic designer from Sofia, Bulgaria. I've been working in the advertising business for the last five years, since I graduated high-school.

I have a very diverse set of interests from engineering and statistics to calligraphy, not that I'm great in any of those but I'm always curious to know what is possible with the tools and knowledge I get to know.

Same goes for photogrpahy. Recently I bought my first ever camera, an entry-level DSLR and I travelled abroad for the first time in my life, visiting Rome and Barcelona (the shots in the set are taken in Catalunya), with my girlfriend.

I like to shoot architecture (urban/industrial) mostly because of the geometricity. I'd also like to shoot nature but I lack the funds to travel and shoot for fun.

It'd be great to visit Greenland probably because I imagine it to be a vast, chilly, inhospitable place, perfect for an introvert like me - where I can be pretty much alone with myself and devote my time on things I find interesting. Shooting landscapes with a professional photographer that would let me see what's exactly his work like first-hand sounds just like one.
