Hey Nomads!
I am Michael Young, 23 years old and live just outside the city of Melbourne!
I am enthralled by travel and the bug has well and truly taken a hold of me. Over the past two years I have spent most of my time outside of Australia and backpacked through South East Asia, Central America, South America, the UK, Europe and I have worked in the United States and studied at university in Canada.
I am embarking on another university exchange experience this year to Leiden in The Netherlands, with post study travel options open.
I study a Bachelor of Science and Arts, majoring in Geography (International/Urban Development) and Politics. I have a keen interest on the growth socially and politically of South-East Asia.
I dream on combining my passion for travel, development and education in founding a school for underpriviledged children in Vietnam.
I am keen on all sorts of sport, but I love Australian Rules Football and Cricket. I also enjoy Surfing, and having a go at snowboarding!
I am a current committee member of the Monash Overseas & Exchange Club (www.movemonash.com)!
