My Scholarship entry - A 'place' I have visited
Japan | Friday, January 11, 2013 | 5 photos
My inherent appreciation and respect for International communities, traditions, customs and travel is core to my desire to pursue this amazing project. In my style and in my art I'm drawn to unusual patterns in organic, earth settings. I search out mixed, deep layers of textured colors, geometric shapes molded with unusual tones and shades. I adore searching for the curious in the ordinary. I'm patient, yet eager and will give back by offering my talents as sherpa, coffee fetcher and great listener. I can provide fresh, creative input and offer a sincere smile, even on the coldest of mornings. I shall gain priceless professional experience, new friends and lifelong memories. I also know I will gain a sore back, a few more gray hairs and more than likely several painful foot blisters. I will learn better note taking skills and will understand perfect knowledge & timing of the “Golden Hour”. I desire to look deep within myself to inspire my creative passion to promote cultural awareness, universal peace and respect for one another throughout our tender world. Most of all I hope to challenge myself and unleash the confidence and abilities which I positively know I possess.
